US Rugby Short Description
While we might not think of the USA as much of a rugby nation compared to other big sports in the country, the numbers tell a different story. In 2010, the USA overtook Wales and Scotland in terms of registered player numbers. And the sport is now ranked among the fastest-growing in the US.
What’s more, just as former USA Rugby CEO Nigel Melville predicted back in 2010, the USA is even set to host a Rugby World Cup… but we’ll have to wait until 2031 to see that.
