With summer now in full swing, things are getting a little quieter than normal for our betting tips and predictions for this week 28. But that’s not to say we’re gonna leave you high and dry.

July 28 — F1 Belgian Grand Prix Odds and Prediction, Spa 2024

Just one week after the Hungary Grand Prix, the F1 road show’s heading straight over to Belgium for the 2024 F1 Belgian Grand Prix at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Here’s what to expect.

• Track: The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is a relatively long track, with a total length of about 4.352 miles (7.004 km) meaning the drivers will complete 40 laps.

August 25 — F1 Dutch Grand Prix Odds and Prediction, Zandvoort 2024

Almost a month after the Belgian Grand Prix, the 2024 F1 Dutch Grand Prix hits the Zandvoort circuit in North Holland. Here’s what to expect.

• Track: The Zandvoort circuit is a short circuit with plenty of corners to challenge drivers, including the heavily banked Arie Luyendykbocht corner which catapults drivers into the final straight.

Uruguay vs Colombia

• Uruguay has shown why they are considered one of the top teams in the region. They breezed through the group stage with an almost flawless record, scoring nine goals while only conceding one. Their quarterfinal match against Brazil was a bit more of a tense affair but was eventually decided by a 4-2 penalty shootout victory.
• Colombia has been a dominating force in the Copa as they set out to reclaim their place at the top of regional soccer. They showed strong form in the group stage, winning all of their matches apart form one draw with Brazil. In the quarterfinals, they demolished Panama, winning 5-0 with a ruthless attack that didn’t let up. They’ll be feeling ready to face Uruguay.
• In their last head-to-head, Uruguay and Colombia played out a tense match where neither team seemed able to get the upper hand. James Rodríguez opened the scoring for Colombia, but Uruguay equalized through Mathías Olivera before Mateus Uribe restored Colombia’s lead. Darwin Núñez’s late penalty equalized, and that was it — the game ended in a 2-2 draw.

Argentina vs Canada

• Argentina has been unstoppable in this competition right from the get-go, topping Group A with a perfect record and a clean sheet. In the quarterfinals, they faced Ecuador and again managed to advance, but only after a penalty shootout. Now, as they prepare to face Canada again, they are confident but cautious.
• Canada has impressed in this tournament, despite being the underdogs. They secured a spot in the quarterfinals by finishing second in Group A, and got the edge over Venezuela in a tense penalty shootout. Facing Argentina again, they will need to overcome the odds to advance further.
• In their last head-to-head, Argentina dominated Canada, despite a tense first half where it could have gone either way. Controlling 65% of possession, Argentina dictated the pace of the game and broke down Canada’s defenses with goals from Julián Álvarez and Lautaro Martinez. Despite Canada’s efforts, they struggled to keep up, managing just two shots on goal without scoring.

Spain vs France

• Spain has shown a promising blend of youth and experience throughout the competition. They got through the group stage undefeated, topped their group in the group stage, and secured some tough victories, including a comeback win against Georgia and a triumph over the Germans. This has set the stage for a tense clash against another historically tough opponent, France.
• France is one of the hot favorites to win the tournament and has done little to change this after advancing with the usual dominance expected of them. So far, they remain unbeaten, although they only finished second in their group. Spain will test their ability to manage possession and disrupt their opponent’s play.
• In their last head-to-head, Spain and France clashed in the Nations League final. Spain controlled 64% of the possession and took the lead with a goal from Mikel Oyarzabal, but France quickly equalized through Karim Benzema and eventually won 2-1 with Kylian Mbappé’s late goal. Despite Spain’s dominance in possession and passing accuracy, France’s counterattacks proved decisive.

Netherlands vs England

• The Netherlands has negotiated the Euro with resilience and adaptability, emerging from the so-called “group of death” in third place. They secured a big victory over Romania in the round of 16 and narrowly overcame Turkey in the quarterfinals. This matchup will be a tough test for their title aspirations.
• England is one of the favorites to win the Euro but has not always lived up to earlier expectations.
