They just genuinely look like they lack the talent to compete in the AFC North. The high standard in the division is perhaps the one reason they can fall back on why their record doesn’t look better.

If anything, we could look at their lack of success in a harsher light considering the wild amount of money spent on the defense, which has been unforgivably leaky. There’s been a handful of injuries spotted about, but nowhere near enough to justify the poor rankings in sacks and passing yards.

Even less impressive has been the special team’s spot which is up there with the worst in the league.

Most fans think better utilization of RB Najee Harris would be a good place to start fixing things up, but it’s all a bit late as the postseason looks out of reach by now.

Ravens

Baltimore’s season is ticking along in a much smoother manner. A 9-5 record is nothing to laugh at, and the attack and defense have both looked red-hot at times. The trouble seems to be getting them playing at their best on the same day. They probably won’t need to work that out in time for the Steelers vs. Ravens 01/01/23 fixture though.
