After all the excitement, thrills, and spills of the 2023 Formula One season, all eyes are now firmly fixed on 2024. And for good reason. While there are countless Grand Prix events to look forward to, one of the most eagerly anticipated events is the F1 Monaco Grand Prix, which is always a fan favorite.

The F1 Monaco Grand Prix never fails to disappoint. Thanks to its unique winding streets, its lavish location, and the often unpredictability of the weather, the F1 Monaco Grand Prix always attracts big names and big numbers from the world of Hollywood, F1, and beyond.

Taking place on the weekend of May 24 – May 26 at the Circuit de Monaco street circuit, the race itself will be held Sunday, May 26, 2024, and can be traced back nearly a century, as it was first held way back in 1929.

The course, renowned for its narrow winding twists and turns, consists of 78 laps and stretches for a total of 161.734 miles (260.286 km). Each circuit length is 2.074 miles (3.337 km).

The 2023 F2 Monaco Grand Prix proved to be eventful, to say the very least, so what can fans expect for 2024?

F1 Monaco GP Information, Analysis

F1 Monaco Grand Prix Prediction Course Details

One of the most exciting things about the F1 Monaco Grand Prix is the unpredictability of the weather.

In late May, the weather in Monaco is largely warm and sunny, though as we found out in 2022 and 2023, it can also get very wet, very quickly. The 2022 F1 Monaco Grand Prix, in particular, was exceptionally wet, and delayed for over an hour due to heavy rain being predicted, meaning that teams would be forced to switch to wet tires before the start of the race.

But just because it rained in the last two editions, that certainly doesn’t mean that 2024 will also be wet.

Based upon past experiences of the event, warm sunshine, partly cloudy conditions, and warm temperatures between 24C – 29C are the most likely, with fairly breezy coastal conditions. There is, however, always a chance of a rain shower.

F1 Monaco Grand Prix Odds to Win — Who to Watch

The 2023 F1 Monaco Grand Prix was won by Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. Can he repeat history and win again in 2024?

We certainly wouldn’t put it past him, and he’s certainly one, of many, to watch.

Sergio Perez Odds

Sergio Perez won this Grand Prix in 2022 and has looked very impressive so far this season.

The Mexican veteran of Red Bull Racing has looked incredibly sharp in recent Grand Prix races, and with his contract with the Constructor set to run out at the end of 2024, he’ll certainly be looking to prove that he’s every bit as capable as his teammate and current champion Max Verstappen.

Charles LeClerc Prediction

Of course, Charles LeClerc has to be mentioned when talking about the F1 Monaco Grand Prix, as this will be his homecoming.

LeClerc has proved to be a strong street racer anyways, but, add to the fact that this will be a Grand Prix on home soil for the young driver, and it’s easy to see why the Ferrari ace is one to watch.

Fernando Alonso Odds

Despite Alonso having a less-than-stellar season so far, you simply cannot count him out. Especially after his second-place finish at Monaco last year

Carlos Sainz Predictions

Carlos Sainz has been performing reasonably well this season, and has shown in the past that he’s got what it takes to fight with the best on the Monaco track. In 2022, he finished 2nd behind LeClerc.

Red Bull Prediction

As far as constructors go, Red Bull is certainly the one to watch.

With both Perez and Verstappen driving arguably better now than ever before, it’s easy to see why Red Bull will be the team to watch in Monaco.

Upcoming 2024 F1 Race Predictions

Following hot on the heels of the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix, the F1 heads over to Canada for the F1 Montreal Grand Prix. Set to go down on June 9, you can find our full 2024 Montreal F1 GP prediction here.

Prediction F1 Monaco Grand Prix 2024

In the 2022 and 2023 F1 Monaco Grand Prix, the weather was unpredictable that the results didn’t go the way many had predicted at the start. Will history repeat itself again, or will we see an upset? Here’s what we think.

  • 1st place: We are backing none other than the mighty Max Verstappen, not only because of his form but because of how well he has performed at the F1 Monaco Grand Prix last year.
  • 2nd place: We’re going with a bit of a wildcard prediction and are backing Charles LeClerc. LeClerc won in 2022, and has been on form this season.
  • 3rd place: For third, we’re backing Verstappen’s teammate, Sergio Perez.

As far as constructors go, we’re predicting a Red Bull win, although if LeClerc does pick up the win and Carlos Sainz Jnr performs well, Ferrari could seal the deal.
