The F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix predictions see us grappling with brand new entrant to the F1 season calendar.

Although, this isn’t 100% accurate — the first F1 Las Vegas GP was held back in 1981. However, between drivers suffering heat exhaustian and the tiny crowds that turned up for the event, the F1 Vegas Grand Prix was soon cancelled after its second-and-last 1982 edition.

But now, we’ll be taking our F1 Las Vegas odds and predictions back to the desert state, with the 2023 F1 Las Vegas GP seeing the prestigious motor race making a comeback after a 30+ year hiatus.

2023 F1 Las Vegas GP Information, Analysis

F1 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix Prediction Video

F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix Prediction Caesars Palace Course Details

When the F1 GP first came to Vegas, it was held at what was affectionately known as the Caesars Palace Car Park circuit — a literal name describing the precise location.

Since then, the original Caesars Palace carpark has been the site of major developments, meaning the 2023 F1 Las Vegas GP predictions will have to take into account an entirely new circuit.

For this year’s edition, the drivers will be taking a 50-lap, 6.12km tour of Las Vegas for a total of 305.88km of fast, street racing action. Along the way, drivers will be passing by Caesars Palace, along with other Vegas icons such as the Bellagio and Venetian.

As already mentioned, the race will be a fast one. With just 14 turns on a 6km circuit, the 2023 F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix will be home to long straights and plenty of tense overtaking action. This will put it right up there with Monza in terms of flat out race speed, meaning this will be a quick, intense race.

As for the weather, Drivers will probably have an easier time than in the heat exhaustion inducing 1981 and 1982 editions, which were both held in October. Pushed back to late November, average Vegas temperatures are about 8 degrees (Celcius) cooler, with averages topping out at a comfortable 21 degrees Celcius.

Drivers will also have a much easier time physically compared with the first editions held in Caesar’s car park. That race also featured 14 turns, but they were much tighter and all crammed into a track not much more than half the length of the 2023 F1 Las Vegas GP, which put an enormous amount of strain on the drivers’ necks.

2023 F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix Odds to Win — Who to Watch

While the 2023 F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix will be the first time the F1 has taken to the this Vegas street racing circuit, it’s layout and expected speed means we should see a similar race to Monza.

That race, last held just months ago, was a tight one, with Max Verstappen finishing just 6 seconds ahead of second-placed Sergio Perez, and 11 seconds ahead of Carlos Sainz.

Max Verstappen Odds

Max Verstappen is, hands down, the #1 favorite to win the 2023 F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. However, don’t expect him to take this one without some serious challenges from competitors.

Sergio Perez Betting Tips

Finishing just seconds behind Verstappen at the 2023 F1 Monza GP, it’s clear Perez will be a hot contender at Vegas.

Charles LeClerc Prediction

If we ignore his 3 DNFs, Charles LeClerc has been a consistent performer this F1 season. He also finished fractions of a second from the podium at Monza, showing he has what it takes to handle the fast, street racing action we’ll be seeing at the 2023 F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Carlos Sainz Win Probability

Finishing on the podium at Monza bodes well for Carlos Sainz’s odds at Vegas, although we don’t expect him to be a real challenger for Verstappen’s dominance.

F1 Schedule – Next Race

After the Las Vegas GP, we go into the last race of the year, the F1 Abu Dhabi GP in the Yas Marina Circuit.

Prediction F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023

The prediction for the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023 is as follows:

  • Max Verstappen: By now, this is getting a little repetitive. But we have no other choice — Verstappen is #1 to win the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023.
  • Carlos Sainz: Everyone knows red is faster, right? After the Ferrari two-three at Monza, we fancy Sainz’s odds of clenching his best result of the season in Vegas.
  • Sergio Perez: While he can’t touch his teammate, Perez is a serious threat to everyone else. Expect to see him just make the podium.
