The main positive realization has been just how talented a punter they have in Jake Camarda. It’s an especially welcome revelation since the side has had seemingly endless problems with the special team picks over the last few years.

Tom Brady may be on course for his first losing season, which doesn’t sound great, but the side is still in the first place, so things can’t be that bad. The team has looked to be in freefall in recent weeks, though, and based on current form, they don’t look like a side ready for the playoffs, no matter how exceptional their special teams are.

There are weak spots all around when it comes to this Falcons’ side. They’re set for a negative record, and next season will be a transition season at best. Long-term plans for QB need to be made soon, but the whole side is likely to get a makeover in the offseason.

Matt Ryan may last until 2023, but the side really needs to start looking past that if they’re going to be able to dream of a better future. One bright spot has been Kyle Pitts whose been the main reason the offense has had any success this season.
