2025 F1 Miami GP Information, Analysis

Taking place for just the third time ever, the 2025 F1 Miami GP will go down at the Miami International Autodrome, a temporary circuit on the grounds of the Hard Rock Stadium.

This circuit was designed and constructed by F1 track designers Apex Circuit Desiglt specifically for this event and consists of 57 laps, a total length of 191.585 miles (308.326 km), and a circuit length of 3.363 miles (5.412 km). Average speeds hover around the 230kph (140mph) mark.

The F1 Miami Grand Prix track proved to be a real hit with racing fans, as did the first three races, the first two of which Max Verstappen of Red Bull was the victor, while last year’s victory went to Lando Norris. Can Max Verstappen reclaim his former glory and secure a thrid win at the F1 Miami Grand Prix again, or will Lando Norris also pull off the same back-to-back feat?

F1 Miami Grand Prix Prediction Course Details

As with any F1 Grand Prix, one essential factor to take into consideration is the weather.

The weather of any F1 event can greatly affect the outcome, so what can we expect in Miami on May 4 for the Miami Grand Prix? Will the Sunshine State indeed provide plenty of sunshine, or will Mother Nature throw a spanner in the works? Well, of course, conditions are uncertain until closer to the time, but we can take an educated guess.

Miami in May, and indeed, much of the year, is warm and sunny. You can therefore put good money on blue skies and hot sunshine being present during qualifying and the race itself. Temperatures will be very warm, likely reaching the high 20s and low 30s. Expect temps of between 24 degrees C and 32 degrees C.

There is, however, always the possibility of rain, particularly from thunderstorms, which can strike (pardon the pun) at any time in Miami. It can also potentially get breezy, though winds shouldn’t be strong enough to be a real factor.

F1 Miami Grand Prix Odds to Win — Who to Watch

One of the best things about the F1 Miami Grand Prix is the fact that, as the race is so new, we don’t know for certain which drivers are likely to perform better here.

Of course, some names in F1 are always worth watching, especially when they’re in form, so here’s who we’re keeping an eye on in Miami this year.

Max Verstappen Odds

Expect to see Max’s name continue to pop up a lot for a while, even if the former hot-new-thing on the block has suddenly found himself facing a lot of competition for the title of the hottest name in F1. After all, Max did win both the 2022 and 2023 editions of the F1 Miami Grand Prix, so it should be fairly clear that he’s one of the only drivers to have already proven himself here.

Oscar Piastri Prediction

Oscar Piastri has certainly turned a lot of heads this year as he finds himself 10 points in the lead for the F1 Drivers Championship title. Of course, in saying that, it’s hard to ignore the fact that he’s yet to prove himself at the Miami Grand Prix. In fact, his best result on this circuit was an unremarkable 13th place in last year’s edition of the race. Still, his star is definitely rising, so we shouldn’t let a lack of past results get in the way of seeing his true potential.

Charles LeClerc Odds

LeClerc has looked very strong since 2022, even if he did slip down the rankings a little in 2023 before making a comeback last year. We also shouldn’t forget that LeClerc managed to sneak onto the podium with a third place finish in last year’s edition of the F1 Miami Grand Prix, along with second place in 2022 when he secured Pole Position.

Lando Norris Podium Prediction

With his first-place finish in 2024’s F1 Miami Grand Prix and his meteoric rise into the upper echelon of F1 drivers, it’s going to be hard not to count Oscar Piastri as a hot favorite at this year’s edition of the race. Of course, it’s also hard to ignore the fact that Norris’ 2025 season has so far been a tale of decline: 1st in Australia, 2nd in China and Japan, 3rd in Bahrain, and fourth in Saudi Arabia. So does that mean he’s destined for fifth place here?

Prediction for F1 Miami Grand Prix 2025

The prediction for the F1 Miami Grand Prix 2025 is as follows:

  • Lando Norris: Sure, he’s been in a steady decline this season. But he’s still one of the strongest drivers out there and has proven he has what it takes to win here.
  • Charles LeClerc: Charles has impressed a lot of people at Ferrari as he consistently positions himself among F1’s elite. We’re going with a LeClerc for a second-place finish at the F1 Miami Grand Prix 2025.
  • Max Verstappen: While we’re not counting on Verstappen taking the victory, we’re still counting on him to make the podium.
