F1 Imola Grand Prix Odds and Predictions, 2023 Emilia Romagna
Italy has a rich and storied history of motor racing, and for F1 fans, the F1 Imola Grand Prix is one of the most anticipated races in the Formula One calendar, despite it being so new.
The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, better known as the F1 Imola Grand Prix, takes its name from the region of Italy, where the race circuit is located. Speaking of the race circuit, the race takes place on the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, which is often referred to as the ‘Imola’ after the name of the town where it is located.
This Grand Prix was actually added to the F1 calendar in 2020 after the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. It was supposed to be a one-time event to make up for the Grand Prix races, which had been lost. In 2021, as the Chinese Grand Prix was canceled, the event returned again and again in 2022 as it was so popular.
In 2023 the F1 Imola Grand Prix will take place over the weekend of May 19 – 21, with the race happening Sunday, May 23. It will consist of 63 laps and 192.034 miles (309.049 km) in length, with a circuit length of 3.050 miles (4.909 km). Last year, it was won by Max Verstappen, but can he win again?

F1 Imola Grand Prix Prediction Course Details
Italy is renowned for its warm and sunny weather. But are those the conditions we can expect for the 2023 F1 Imola Grand Prix in May?
2022 saw a heavy downpour hours before the race started, meaning the track was wet and slippery. However, the race itself took place in warm and dry conditions.
The conditions in 2023 will likely be dry, with warm sunshine and clear skies. Temperatures should range between 20c – 25c.
2021 and 2022 saw rain cause some disruption, however, so a heavy rain shower is certainly not out of the question.
F1 Imola Grand Prix Odds to Win — Who to Watch
With so many drivers looking so sharp in 2022, which drivers should you keep your eyes on at the 2023 F1 Imola Grand Prix?
Lando Norris Odds
Lando Norris of McLaren took third place last year and will hope to improve upon this placement by pushing for the top spot.
Norris, who will be with McLaren until the end of 2023, will be partnered by Oscar Piastri, who will be replacing Daniel Ricciardo. Lando has looked dangerous in recent events, and with a 3rd place finish last year, he’s certainly worth keeping your eyes on.
Sergio Perez Prediction
The Mexican Red Bull ace Sergio Perez is another name you must remember at the F1 Imola Grand Prix.
Perez is a driver who had a stellar 2022 and is certainly a contender for the Driver’s Championship in 2023.
After signing a contract extension with Red Bull, keeping him with the Constructor until the end of the 2024 season, he’ll be looking to show that Max Verstappen is not the only asset that Red Bull Racing has.
Max Verstappen Odds
Max Verstappen has won this event twice and considering he is a 2 x Drivers Champion and will be defending his title in 2023, you simply cannot overlook the young Belgian-Dutch Red Bull star.
He also holds the record for the fasted lap here, with a time of 1.18.446, so he certainly knows how to perform here.
Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team Prediction
Despite Red Bull looking so dominant, because George Russell has been performing so well, and because Lewis Hamilton is one of the best-ever F1 drivers, Mercedes could very well be the Constructor to secure victory in Italy.

While some predictions are considered pretty safe bets, the great thing about the F1 Imola Grand Prix is the fact that you never know what will happen on the day of the Grand Prix. Here are our predictions.
In 1st place, we are again going with Max Verstappen, not only because of his form but because of how well he has performed at the F1 Imola Grand Prix in the past.
In 2nd place, we’re going with a bit of a wildcard prediction and are backing Lando Norris. Lando placed 3rd here last year and will be looking to perform for McLaren. What better way to perform than to challenge the current champion?
In 3rd we have Sergio Perez. Sergio is on form for Red Bull, and he and Verstappen make one heck of a team.
For Constructors, we’re going with Red Bull, as Verstappen and Perez have looked unbeatable at times. Mercedes look to be Red Bull’s biggest threat, especially if Russell continues to perform and Hamilton finds that world-class form we know he possesses.
