The offense did dip slightly when Dak Prescott was forced to miss a run of games with a thumb injury, but even then, they mostly managed and haven’t taken any time to find their top form again now that he’s back in the team.

One slight criticism is that despite already reaching double-digit wins, few of those victories have been rampant hammerings. Being able to win close games is a great attribute to have to go into the postseason but fans may have been able to feel a little more confident if Dallas had run amok when taking the lead more often.

This showed most clearly in the dramatic 27-23 win against the Titans in GW 15, who only has 1 win to their name this season and arguably shouldn’t have been able to make the game such a close contest.

Still, the wins keep coming, and the playoffs beckon.

Going into game week 17 with an even record, you’d be forgiven for thinking that was a misprint if you’ve seen their defense in recent weeks. Unfortunately, things aren’t much better in attack either, and if the form keeps dipping like this, then fans will just be praying for the season to end.
